It's been almost 4 weeks. Whoops. My bad.
j has been growing like a weed. This morning he was 24" and weighed in at 13.2 lbs (he was 13 Monday). We have started pulling 0-3 month clothing (depending on manufacturer obviously) and in some have him in 3-6 month sleepers. Yikes. We are also finishing up on size 1 diapers. I have a chunk of Huggies 1-2 diapers that he hopefully won't grow out of before we can use them. Once those are gone, we will move up to 2's. Only got nailed with around 150 size 1's that we won't use (on top of the numerous NB packages we were stuck with). Good thing we know several people that are having babies- gifts are running us pretty cheap right about now. The rest we will have to return for larger sizes (probably 3's since we have an ass load of 2's already).
j has been smiling reactively and babbling for about 3 weeks now. Catching it on camera is a whole different monster. Of course when we went in for pics, he wanted to do nothing but cry the whole time until we were picking out shots. Then he was all smiles.
We moved j into his crib about 2 weeks ago. It was by complete accident- I laid him down so I could finish getting ready for bed and planned on moving him into the PNP once I was done. When I went to pick him up, he was sound asleep and I didn't see the point in disturbing him. 5 hours later I woke up in a panic. For the most part, he is now going down around 10-11 and is out until around 4-5. This works perfectly for me going back to work Monday, which means he will probably change things up that night.
I am all but done with pumping, and my timing worked out fairly well. Now that j sleeps so much at night, he is up all damn day. A 2-3 hour nap is rare, it's usually 30 minute cat naps. Eating is pretty much a luxury without J around, pumping would be almost an impossibility. I would have liked to go longer, but I could not stand being a slave to the pump and at this point it just wouldn't work. I shouldn't have to lug the pump to work with me, which works out great.
In other news, we are finally getting around to doing more on our house. We had new windows installed yesterday that will be finished up today. It's amazing how much something so simple can change a house (and kill some of the noise of the road we live by. Now if we could just get the house shaking semis/dumpsters banned from that road, we would be set).
Yeah, I'm cute.

Still cute even when pissed off.
